Anyone think Avenue will become like ELM?
Cause that would just suck. Although I am liking the format of Avenue so far.

i have a feeling like it might, last year was such a pain in the butt we could barely get in, it felt like solar during course selection all over again. but yea avenue looks a lot better than elm and if it doesnt mess up oh man mac would finally have a proper running site!

It's looking okay so far, but then again not much is going on at school...wait until exams, then we'll really know.

thats true elm shut down near like 2nd 3rd week of school if anything we will find out soon enough how avenue is going to hold off!

I doubt it. Avenue (unlike ELM) wasn't designed by a bunch of dipshits. The guys who designed it actually understand web programming and server implementation, and of course aesthetics and functionality.
Now if we could only get them to redo mugsi :p

It seems the math department doesn't want to give Avenue a shot, seeing the profs uses the math department website instead of Avenue (math 1b03 and 2k03)

No it won't. Around this time, avenue is being used at a peak load. Almost everybody is checking it out. ELM had crashed on thursday of the first week last year.

Although I like the fact that Avenue is not crashing, am I the only one that misses ELM's layout? It was much better having lectures and lab manuals organized in folders rather than what Avenue is doing with the big list. It feels like its gonna get messy in a few weeks and hard to find stuff.
And the discussion part of ELM was great, while it seems like Avenue's discussion sucks...
I miss ELM.
