what area in Hamilton is good for off-campus housing?
I am considering to live off-campus this September and I am moving from Toronto.
What area is safe and quiet. I heard Dundas area is better than down town.
Any advice?

Westdale > Dundas > Downtown > East end

Although if you're smart, it doesn't really matter at all

I know many people who live in that area who don't take issue, what is your objection to it?

I live in a 'nice' neighbourhood further north, yet last month an elderly neighbour of mine was abducted and sexually assaulted... :(

i live in an apartment near the cemetery on main st w, its a nice area and buses are really close/go by all the time. its about a 10 min bus ride which isnt bad. generally all areas around mac are nice, its once you go to the other side of the highway where its not as nice
