I heard about Tekk Savvy being decent. But I have never tried it.
I have Cogeco. They are way overpriced and the package you get isn't even the best.

Than I guess you are left with Cogeco. But again they are overpriced for the packages they offer and they will charge you for basically anything

I think Shaw and Acanac might be separate from Rogers/Bell as well, but I'm not 100% sure. And I'm not sure if Acanac services Hamilton (or maybe just partially? Really not sure)... Shaw does at least.

All dsl will be a re sell of bell.

Not 100% sure about cable though but good chance all cable isp will be a resell of something else as well

I have had no issues with bell internet and I have had it for quite a while. I notice with cogeco that about once a month the internet is disconnected for a few minutes, not a big deal just annoying really.

lol at "good" ISP's in Hamilton or Canada for that matter. Cogeco would probably be your best bet right now judging from your first post. I live near Ivor Wynn and its the only ISP out of the few in my area that is reasonably good. I've never had a single tech. problem with them over the years. My only gripe is the bandwidth caps which are so ridiculous I don't know how they get away with it. I mean look at their Ultimate 50 package which is 50Mbps down and has a 150GB cap while on the other hand looking at TSI their lowest package is 200GB cap...wtf??Anyways I've been looking at switching ISPs myself and I'm eyeing TSI Cable only thing stopping me is it's unavailablity in my area. :'(

Good place to go for ISP info is http://www.dslreports.com/
