Hamilton Good Neighbour Campaign: Update 7 January 2010
Ever wonder what we have been exposed to over the years? If you missed the article in last month's paper, visit our blog to read more. As mentioned earlier this week, now is the time to fight for a cleaner and healthier decade!
Letter Update
Keep them coming! So far we’ve received letters from a vast array of community members spanning from the Hamilton mountain, to Westdale, to those living on Dofasco’s front door step. Grandparents, students, and residents alike are submitting their letters (or pictures) to help let Dofasco know how their company’s actions are affecting them.
To help display these letters, we will be posting them to our website under the section “From the Neighbors”. Here, you will be able to find consistent updates showing the letters which we have been receiving and eventually forwarding to the company. If you wish to have your letter posted here, please email me and let me know!
For now, please feel free to visit the page to read the letter submitted by Sam Merulla, councilor of Ward 4 – East Hamilton.
Deadline Extended
Upon popular request, the letter drive will be continued until the end of January. Please try to have your letters submitted (or tell us and have us pick them up) by January 29th!
Still stuck or crunched for time? – Use the Letter Template!
In addition to the attached letter writing guidelines, you can also use the new letter template. This template will show how you can structure your letter making it clear, concise, and effective. It can be a real time saver, so try it out! (Email [email protected] ilton.org for a copy).
