Hi, I want to take ASTRON 1F03, I have been trying nonstop since last year and its always full ... I am in second year now and really want it ... :(

You would contact the physics and astronomy department.

I just checked and astron 1f03 shows its available for first term. You might want to try now.

its full for me :S thats so weird maybe because i am second year :S

I just checked again and it's still showing available, are you possibly missing a prereq? From what I've seen around here, there are a lot of upper years taking first year classes.

astro 1f03 is not a pre req for any program except astrophysics which you can't choose till 2nd year anyways so if some students can get in you should be able to too.

I was thinking more in the line of missing Physics 1L03 or 1P03 or even a Grade 12 U Physics, or possibly missing one of the Calcs or Functions classes that are required. Just guessing, I'm new at this

I got in last year, and on the first few days the room was FULL and people we sitting on the steps. Then after about a week when people realized its not a total bird course (ie. theres physics involved) the room had empty rows. I dont know if this means people dropped or if they just stopped attending. But I feel like you'd be able to get in after the first week.

Yeah, you'll have better luck getting in during mid-August to early September.

I managed to grab a spot last week... just keep checking.
