Athletic scholarships/ Football tryouts
Hey I was wondering if anyone knows if you can apply for athletic scholarships once your on a team and if youve meet the requirements. I know you have to have at least an 80% average to get one but i'm still completely lost about the whole thing. I've applied for OSAP and I will be applying for bursaries (basically I need money any where I can get it). I was also wondering if anyone knew when football starts. Ive tried to contact the coach but he hasn't been answering (phone or e-mail). Any help would be great.

What are the athletic scholarships you are talking about? Some specific names would be helpful.

When I called the athletic department a few weeks ago they were telling me something about the Ron Joyce award and if you have at least an 80% avg from high school you can be considered for this and a few others as well.

It's a Scholarship by Application. The deadline already passed, it was April 15th. So you can apply for it next year. Click on Terms & Conditions to see what requirements you need for the award.
