The presence of the course after its completed is completely up to the course instructor. I have 4/5 of my 1st semester courses still visible.

Also, this isn't an avenue hack, but anybody who is employed by the school get this added to their avenue account. Most of the people who have it haven't noticed. Others (like myself), just haven't bothered to do anything with it. My roommate on the other hand... LULZ
