Whidden Hall has basement rooms that overlook Cootes, and I'm pretty sure they all do because there's only a basement on one side of the building (due to the slope of the ground it's built on).

Many other residences have non-basement rooms that overlook Cootes, however. Basically, an entire side of Hedden, Les Prince, Brandon, Whidden, Moulton, and Bates also give a great view of it.

I lived in Whidden basement first year and I had a view of Cootes but back then I didn't know it was Cootes I just thought it was a random forest.
