Well you aren't allowed to live in rez over the summer, but I'm sure they must be allowing people to see some of the rez rooms during the tours. Hopefully they are... otherwise I guess you'll need to wait until Sept!

On the August preview day they have an example or two of a room in your res building available for you to see. Last year in Bates they had four person rooms available to view.

Those are some cool fun-having pictures... but you really can't see much of the building =(

I think what all us incomers really want is a normal picture in-room.

Unfortunately, those are very hard to come by... and I really don't expect anyone here to have one... =(

Indeed, I don't have such pictures as I did not live there last year.

What you need to do is aquire upper-level students as friends who lived there so you can get the inside scoop. Or, wait a month.

Haha. I didn't know many (two) until last year when I was a rep for them...

The rooms are of a fairly nice size. I can't explain it well as each individual bedroom has a bit of a different layout, as do the suites.

I'm in a 6 bedroom with 5 other girls lol.. I'm so excited! I'm an only child though, so I wonder how that's going to turn out lol.

You'll have your own bedroom, so that part at least should be fine.

You'll have lots of fun learning to deal with others in various ways. I too am an only child, and had to do it a) when i moved into res in my first year, and b) when i moved off-campus in my second year.

Yeah, I'm glad I have my own room, it makes things easier for me lol. I hope it'll be a really good experience

Just make sure to come out to events during welcome week, as that will be the easiest way to meet people in both your floor and the other floors in bates.

Does anyone know how a 2 residents apartment style is like? Because on the website it says 1 bedroom shared by two people~ and my friend said its like a person has a closed off bedroom with a door, and the other person has the common area or sumthing. I'm really confused

I think, although I am not sure, is that two of you are sharing a bedroom in an apartment.
