Being a TA as a continuing student?
Just wondering, do you have to be in grad school to be a TA? I'm taking one year part-time for some prereqs but would like to work as a TA for some undergrad courses. Should I just contact some of the profs I would be interested in working for?

You don't have to be in grad school to TA, but it depends on the department. Your best bet is to contact the departments you're interested in and ask if they have positions open to begin with and if you can apply as a part-time CE student. I think being part-time might be more of a problem than being a CE student. But again, it can vary a lot from one department to another, so contact them specifically, not the profs because many times it's not the professors alone who make the decision.
