Bell cellphones on campus = FAIL
So I have my cellphone with Bell and I've noticed twice in the last week that the service on campus tends to just... disappear. First during the day of the sidewalk sale, then today (the 13th) around 11:30-ish. Friends who are also with Bell reported the same problem at the same times.

Just wondering how widespread this is and if anybody has perhaps called Bell and found out what the cause is? I think I'm going to have to call them myself sometime this week... if I scream about it enough maybe they will give me money.

I'm using an HTC Legend, my friends had an iPhone 4 and some flip phone... occasionally it will even show full service bars but still be unable to send a text/call.

I get full bar with Koodo but they suck when you go near any basements.

I can get reception pretty much anywhere with rogers, except in the basement and some random places I flucuate between 0 and 1 bars. I wouldn't use it to call, but texts are okay

Same as me - no problems really with Rogers.

Outside my bell works just fine bordering on great. I get more bars on campus than I get anywhere else but when you are inside a building I have very little service. I still get my 3G though.

I have actually been several places where my bell phone gets service and my friends rogers phones don't. I am not a huge fan of bell but I don`t think that rogers is that great either, I know a lot of people who have had problems with them as well.

For me, the only phone company that works in almost all buildings on campus is Rogers. I've been through Bell, Telus and Virgin - and they all suck. Telus is the worst.

It's not a matter of bars for me. It just cuts out sometimes and stops working while I still have full bars.

I have Bell and i'm perfectly fine. The only places I don't get reception is in one class sometimes but that's because it's in the basement. I have a blackberry curve if that makes it any different, but I've been everywhere and the service is great!
