Rogers has a tower on the top of the hospital, thus the best reception. Telus' is the furthest from campus, located in University Plaza.

What the hell, I have HORRIBLE reception with Rogers... Forget basements, sometimes my phone loses all signal or goes into "Searching" mode for hours on end even on 1st floors of buildings. Gets more annoying since the only way to regain my signal is turning my phone off then on again. My signal doesn't come back otherwise (even if I move to a generally better reception area)

That could be your phone... my phone used to do that and when I got a new one I've never had that problem again. I was with the same provider too.

Everyday since I've been at Mac, I've lost service starting around 12 till either after 5 or I leave campus. I'm with TELUS. I'm so frustrated especially when I need my phone the most at those times. Just got service again... I'm going to lose my mind

I'd have to agree it's probably your handset

I learned my lessons about Bell a couple years ago with internet service. Never going near them again. My phone is with Rogers, and I have no complaints, with reception, service, or otherwise. A bit pricey, but easily talked down with a brief chat with the retentions department.

Yeah if you have bad reception with Rogers its probably an issue with your phone.

Well, I'd blame it on the fact it's because my screen is shattered horribly, but it's been like this since first year when my phone was 1 month old. Yay.

It's not just on campus, but people elsewhere have issues with Bell. Once someone on Facebook posted their status as "Bell Mobility sucks", and in less than 15 minutes there were over 60 comments agreeing to it/complaining about Bell.

I'm with Fido, and it's been amazing. Great plan, good phone. The only places I don't get network is in Union (no idea why), and the steps at the side of the stage in Twelve Eighty.
