i know i'm bias and all, but i'm gonna have to go with social work, it's multidisciplinary, it's a nice and small program, you get hands on experience, and you also combine your social work degree with a BA. you're also able to learn from a bunch of social sciences and be able to apply it, which is really sweet also. also a bonus to call your profs by first names. on the other hand: i'm not so thrilled with sociology (my BA), don't like the large class sizes and i wasn't being challenged enough, but there is a variety of different subjects in sociology, so you're able to pick and choose what you're interested (health, education, gender, social psychology, deviance, etc). i've also really been impressed by the few health studies courses i've taken.
