IBM is moving in to the Stelco tower, in a partnership with Hamilton Health Sciences that will see the tech giant move a substantial number of jobs into the downtown.

The company will occupy six floors of 100 King Street West, the office tower formerly called the Stelco Tower.

Unless they actually sign a co-op student/post graduation employment agreements with McMaster (like UofT and Waterloo do), this news is completely irrelevant.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the huge layoff going down in the US, as labour is cheaper in Canada. More info here.
