BIO 1M03 Midterm; Tips?
1)For those that have taken BIO 1M03 with Evans before, do you have any tips with regards to studying for the test?

2)What is the extent of detail that it is required to memorize e.g. will species names, dates, minor details on slides etc. be tested?

3)How important are the textbook readings?

4) For the short answer questions, do we have to write definitions, paragraphs etc. or is it more calculations and one-word answers?

Thanks so much for any help, in advance!

His midterm last year was a killer. It was incredibly difficult & he literally made so many people complain to the dean. He doesn't care about the textbook but he expects you to know everything on the lecture slides and everything he talked about in class and then apply it to different situations. The short answers were straight forward knowledge questions from the lecture slides but his MC was unbelievably difficult. The course gets better though..Dr. Quinn is really easy and the second midterm and exam is really easy so don't worry about doing bad people pulled through with 10s and 11s in the end.
