Bio 1M03 Outdated textbook
I bought an outdated Bio 1M03 textbook unknowingly (1 version behind) And "How humans evolved" (2 versions behind). How crucial is it to have the newest textbook? Will it have all the same information? Don't want to hear that I wasted my money :(

How Humans Evolved should matter ... I remember Alistair said this and I also had the old version and noticed that it wasn't the same as the updated version. You could ask a friend to lend you theirs if they took it first semester, but the other Bio 1M03 McMaster Custom Edition should be fine.

My professor took out some questions directly from the How Humans Evolved textbook (not from his notes) on the midterm, I'd say ~3-5 questions

I would go to whomever sold you the book and ask for a refund. Be careful buying books off strangers in the future. Most people are fine, but some will try to dump old (unusable) editions on purpose.

Find out who the prof is first. I took it with Hurlburt and the slides were nowhere near enough.

Still, that book is a waste. Get your money back.
