Ah yes... Intro to bio... the course I found out the first week of first year that I didn't actually need to take (<
>... I'm in Commerce, so I got a lot of wtf's when ever it was brought up) but I stuck through with it anyways...
The problem is that (from what i see on the master timetable), a different prof is teaching it this year, and different profs tend to do things differently, so I really can't talk to you about the load.
Course content... Unless they changed some stuff (which I'm not too sure about... I don't think the content depends on the prof though, but I could be wrong), wasn't too hard considering I didn't take any science after gr 10 and still ended with an A.
Most of the first half was elaborating on stuff you probably learned in grade 10 (cell theory, atoms, molecules, bonds, cell reproduction). latter part was mostly just genetics (DNA, genes, etc.) and we went into the evolution for a bit. It really wasn't too hard. I'd assume you'd have an even easier time if you took grade 11 bio or had a good mark in grade 10.
Again, I'm not sure whether different profs affect content.
