Bio 2EE3
How is Finan for Bio 2EE3? I heard Dr. Xu wasn't well-received by the students.

Is reading the textbook necessary?

For Xu, I've heard that the multiple choice questions was almost 100% based on textbook details and short answer was based on lecture material. Is this true?

How do you recommend studying for it? Taking notes for every chapter as you progress through the course?

Thanks!

I can only speak for my experience with Dr. Xu teaching the course two years ago. His slides are basically figures from the textbook so you need to know textbook info but he tells you what to hone in on during lecture. So essentially, yes - MC questions are based on textbook content but not *all* of it. Short answer was based on lecture material, but it was memorization of a bunch of processes and lists.
