Bio 3K03

A really interesting course! Dr. Ellis is a great person, however she is a bit tough as a teacher. Very fair though. She marked all our tests down by about 20%, but after her vacation she decided to screw it and gave us all our original marks (which were really high). The labs were extremely easy compared to other bio courses; just had to draw two informal diagrams. They were really there to help you study. The difficulty comes from the lab tests. You have to basically memorize what everything looks like at the microscopic level. She'll post a slideshow, and ask you what she's pointing at, and will give you 10 seconds to write it down before she moves on. Very good experience though.

i didnt like this course. Dr. Ellis is not approachable. Our test as hard, the average was in the low 50s. people who are good crammers will do great in this course. as the test/exam are short answers and shes looking for every single detail.
wont recommend as an elective
