Does anyone know if we can get a waiver to take this course if you haven't taken orgo?

You honestly do not need to know orgo to do this course. I think if you brought it up they would defiantly allow you. It is usually a full class - but you'll never notice it from lectures so do it ASAP before it fills up more likely you'll get in.

kitty1 says thanks to airvcarmelo for this post.

Hopefully once you get in just some extra advice, there isn't much in terms of understanding concepts but memorize everything! Memorize to the point where you know the numbers of random facts. For example how many cells are there in the body - that question just made me laugh on the midterm.

they said no in the waiver, mainly because biochem 2ee3 is offered only in the second term, as it is taking into account for students to be taking Orgo I (only offered in 1st term).
So there really no excuse. Its already accommodated/setup in a way for u to do orgo, and this class.
My advice, take orgo I, and take biochem 2ee3 (if u really want the class tht is)

I suspect that this prereq has more to do with volume control than actual required knowledge.
