Biology 1A03 & 1M03
I've heard fro people that it's better to take one biology before the other.

The only problem with this is I've heard it both ways, I've heard it's easier to take 1A03 first and then take 1M03 and I've heard it's easier to take 1M03 and then 1A03.

Those of you that have already done both courses, does it really matter?

Well, last year everyone had to take 1M03 before 1A03, two years ago it was the other way around.

I honestly think it doesn't matter, they're not related. What I found though is that 1M03 was easier than 1A03. So, if you have a more difficult semester, take 1M03 and vice versa.

Good Luck!

I took 1A03 before 1M03 (formerly 1AA3). It doesn't make a difference material-wise as they aren't related. I wish I had taken the course with Jacobs second as he was my first lecture in university and everything flew over my head. :p A bit of experience with lectures would have helped.

You should be fine either way.

They don't have Jacob anymore this year

Right now I'm in 1A03 first semester and 1M03 second semester.

I'm thinking maybe since 1M03 is easier, it'd be better to have it first semester since first semester you have that whole transition period to university...

Lucky!

You should be fine with 1A03 first. I didn't find it that much harder than 1M03. 1M03 is apparently a lot of memorization whereas 1A03 is more concept-based.

how do you know!

like i feel sorry for the guy in a way, but honestly hes a terrible teacher.

1M03 was only in first semester for me, and 1A03 in second semester.

but they aren't very related so it doesnt matter, and 1M03 is easier i think.
