HI, I am doing a lab for 1st year biology tommorow and I was wondering if we have to pick our own groups for the lab or if we are given group members by the professor?

I'm pretty sure you choose your own groups in the lab. I highly doubt you will be assigned groups, but even if you are, they would be randomly selected by your lab TA.
