Didn't take them myself, but based off my friends' opinions who took the courses last year:

4A03 seemed like an unorganized course, where not much was taught or learned. Not tough, but you're not getting much out of it. Ie. group projects with 20 people writing a paper together leading to a lot of issues (organization, availability, understanding, personal style/differences) and an overall ineffective learning experience..

4AA3 brings you out to the field (incl. a nearby forest site and the zoo) for practical experience. Tests are tougher as expected from Quinn, as they make you think.

Biased opinion: Definitely read the course outlines and if you're interested in the topics of 4AA3, take it!
