Blackberry Pearls
Does nobody want a blackberry pearl anymore? I have been trying to sell an 8110 for ages, fair price, but I haven't even had realistic OFFERS on it in ages. IT's an 8110, so it has the video camera, gps, etc. Great phone for anyone not looking to go on a contract... Yea, there's like 3 models out SINCE the 8110, but It's still a modern phone! And the bonus is: Mine's hardly used.

GRRRR, technology.

That's how every bit of technology is. I think with the blackberry's everyone wants the optical trackpad and new OS now. Not to mention that almost everyone gets the curve/bold. Personally I just got the new pearl, I like smaller brick type phones. Are you advertising your phone on kijiji/craigslist? Good luck with you sale!

That's just what happens with old tech, I paid $1300 for my laptop 2 years ago and I'd be lucky to get $300 for it now... A new pearl is about $450, assuming a similar rate of depreciation as my laptop, you would be looking at about $100 (if it's in good condition). What would you consider a "realistic" offer?

Well, without looking at it, i had a couple early offers for $20... I've only used it for 6 months, it had all original accessories, battery still lasts days at a time with heavy texting use, and it's in excellent condition considering I'v ehad a silicone cover on it the whole time.
