I enjoyed most of it, but the part in the Las Vegas Casino was utter bullshit.
"Memory alone just isn't giving him an edge... Eventually he follows his instincts. Daniel: In the end I was just relying on instinct and the imagery as it flowed into my mind. I decided to split the 7's, not the best move but I decided to do that because something in my head was telling me to do that anyway because of the imagery I was experiencing..."
House had a 10 and he chooses to split 3 7's twice based on a "feeling" produced by the landscape in his head, and somehow he gets 21 three times (lol, what?). Then the film tries to pass it off that his savantism allows him to know when to make these kinds of gambles (so.. psychic powers!- x-ray vision or precognition!), but I can't see him being any different than an experienced card counter.
Oh, and Kim Peek is awesome.
