Branding and Web Internship

The Branding and Web Design Intern will be responsible for assisting the staff of the newly formed Student Success Centre to re-brand the Centre's goals to the University community. The incumbent will work closely with our Marketing team to develop a communication strategy that will be used to inform our internal and external clients of the new Centre. This task will include the design of a new web presence, creation of print media promotional material and provision of guidance regarding the best use of social media for branding and communications. Additionally, the intern will be assist in migrating existing departmental web content into the Student Success Centre website in such a way that maximizes the usage. He/ she will ensure that branding is maintained across all areas. In addition, this position will be an integral part of shaping the image for this centre that will be promoted to students, alumni, employers and the internal and external community partners.
The following skills are required of the successful candidate:
-Expert in both web and print graphic design tools and techniques
-Excellent communication and writing skills for web and print media
-Expert level knowledge of common web development tools and techniques (HTML, Cold Fusion, PHP, Relational Database's, etc.)
-Knowledge of all current web communication trends (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
-Knowledge of generally accepted website usability best practices
-Proficiency with Adobe's Creative Suite is required
- Multimedia recent grad with a communications background.
- Excellent organizational skills; customer service experience; the ability to motivate self and manage time effectively and strong leadership qualities.
- Creativity and enthusiasm is a must.
Length of Work Term:
12 months

Very interesting.
You said that the length of work is 12 months. Is this a part time position and my guess is they are hiring for July?
