Bursaries 2014
I am a fourth year student, i have applied for and successfully gotten a bursary each year. This year I applied on september 16th. the last time i checked the portal i believe it said "being assessed", today i went in to check even thought the bursaries don't come out for several more weeks and it is reading "incomplete". does this mean I am already denied??? has anyone had this before? what do other peoples say currently?

I just checked now and it still says Being Assessed. I guess it will only say approved when they actually release the money. It's almost mid-february, so by the end of this week/next week I'm sure we will get it.

i actually went in and after a LONG discussion with financial aid there was an error in their system (clerical error) when i updated my income for second term which by default sent me into denied mode. They fixed it for me and its back to "being assessed". Seems to be an isolated incident.

EDIT***********
For what its worth, and for anyone facing this problem and viewing this thread at a later date, I did receive a bursary this year (In the same amount I received in year 1 and 3, year 2 I got significantly more since I was under different financial circumstances). So I recommend people keep an eye on their application and be sure this doesn't happen to them.

I spoke to Student Accounts the other day and they told me that cheques should begin rolling by the end of reading week.

I'm hoping for something substantial.
