Is bursary consider an income for OSAP?
I already submitted my OSAP form for 2011-2012, and then my friend told me that the $1000 dollar McMaster University Bursary should be consider an income and to be reported to OSAP. Is it??

The OSAP website says you should report bursaries and scholarships to them if your school didn't send you a written letter saying the school already informed OSAP.

What do I do now?? Should I fill in a change request form and change the total gross income that I have from jan 2011-dec 2011. Or did the financial aid office already reported this bursary to OSAP and I don't need to change my income statement??

You can either change it now with the change request form, or wait and see if OSAP sends you a letter saying that the income you reported doesn't match up with what revenue canada calculated.

I think bursaries and scholarships are sources of income though, so 1000$ is quite a discrepancy.

I don't think you have to inform them. I did not and they did not do anything. They just reviewed my income and stuff and told me the amount i am going to get in september and january. So, if you have not don't worry.
