How to calculate OSAP Workload?
Hi,

I am an undergraduate joining this fall at Mcmaster.
Course selection for Engineering opens tomorrow and on my OSAP application I put 60% workload.

The courses I wanted to take 1st term are:
  • Engineering 1C03
  • Engineering 1P03
  • Physics 1D03
  • Math 1ZA3
  • Chemistry 1E03
  • Elective
So does all these courses together go more that 60% workload?
Because I need to know if I have to put the elective this Term 1 or Term 2.

Please help me.

Thanks

Workload is for the entire session, so both term 1 and term 2. I think Engineers have a full course load of 37 units. To figure out what % you are taking you just divide how much you are taking by the total and multiple by 100%.

For example if you are taking 30 units, your course load is (30/37)*100% = 81%

Yeah, add them all up. But make sure a full course load is 37, not sure if it's 37 or 36... or it might even be something else. I don't know engineering workloads.
