Calender for computer
Hey guys

So what do you use to stay organized and keep things scheduled, specifically on your computer

I find there are a ton of really good calender apps for phones now but I cant find anything for the computer. Right now I use the calender from windows live mail right now but i find it annoying how it shows me everything i have schedules (cus i put my time table on it) and I only want to see the main events sometimes. And it doesn't let me personalize as much as id like.

So does anyone have any good calendar apps or things they use on their computer (windows) ??

try any.Do
http://www.any.do/

Made by google, support for web, chrome browser, android and iOS. It will sync across all devices and is pretty good. Personally I dont use anything other that sticky notes and paper. But there are good computer alternatives out there.

www.google.com/calendar

Google Calender: allows you to set up/diplay multiple calenders, built-in support for google tasks, and syncs with damn near every calendar app on Android/iOS

I use Outlook Calendar. I find it very useful. Especially for repeated events (classes etc.)

I use "DesktopCal". I really like it because it's easy to edit and it's on the desktop background so it's pretty hard to miss.

Not sure if this necessarily helps you, but since I have 2 gmail accounts, I can set my calendar to show only one, or both overlapping. In your case, you just set all your school stuff to one and the important stuff to save to the other so you can easily remove the layer, or keep it on at all times
