It's fine if you don't know what blood type you are; since that probably means you're a first-time donor, you have to fill in some more info, and they'll type your blood and send you a donor card with the info on it

I also have very small veins, sometimes it takes 2 nurses just to find one, just make sure you drink plenty of water before, it will definitely help.

Blood is a good thing, and your body is reproducing it all the time. So why not share it with people who need it? Like I said, your blood can save up to 3 people's lives .. and you'll definitely appreciate those who donate if God forbid you or a loved one need it one day. Completely your choice though!

Yeah of course! They prick your finger before you donate, to check your iron and then you will get a donor card in the mail that has your blood type on it.

I just dont like blood leaving my body. Like if I get cut or something sure, i'll just suck up some blood or what not. But giving someone else MY blood. Not happening. I have a wierd mentality on that. I just feel that if someone else has my blood, then they also have some tiny part of me which is NOT cool. My blood adds to my uniqueness.

I think they test all the blood ever since that incident where people got AIDS form receiving blood.
