How can anyone play Leauge Of Legends on Res?
Unless I'm playing at 4 am I have consistent spikes of 200-300 ping. It's unbearable, is this normal?

Give up the games, you're in university. This is coming from someone who was semi-pro in halo 2 (Top 32 FFA, Orlando '07). Once you get to university, it is time to get over that chit.

I think everyone has a 2GB/day limit or something like that. Once you go over that, you have shitty internet for the next day or so.
Make sure you're using your ethernet cable too, wifi on res sucked.

I can confirm that the throttling gets reset at 12AM everyday, however sometimes you get throttled even before downloading anything for the day.. this is so frustrating eugh you can't do anything with ping like that

Turns out it was my router! With a direct connection everything is dandy. Never woulda expected such big issues from a router 5 feet away.
