Hi everyone,

I've been trying to get into Psych 2E03 which is Sensory Processes. The course is not yet full. When I try to add it, Solar says that I don't have the requisites for the course. The prerequisites are as follows:


Prerequisite(s): Six units from PSYCH 1A03, 1AA3, 1X03, 1XX3 with a grade of at least C+ in each, and one of BIOLOGY 1A03, 1M03 (or 1AA3), 1P03 (or 1K03) or Grade 12 Biology U, and registration in a program in Psychology or the Faculty of Science; or ISCI 1A24; or registration in Arts & Science, the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours), the Honours Linguistic Cognitive Science or the Honours Music (Music Cognition) program


In the past year, I have taken psych 1x03 and 1xx3 so im cleared on those two. I also took Grade 12 Bio U and I'm registered in BScN. Am I suppose to ask the instructor for permission? If so, then do I need to fill-up any form?

I'd bet that they're not registering that you completed Bio in grade 12 on SOLAR. Should be as easy as contacting the Psych department and telling them your situation, they'll most likely ask for your student number to check your previous courses too.

That's probably it yeah. Also, there has been a recurring problem this year with SOLAR not recognizing prerequisities, so yeah just contact 'em.
