That's not exactly what happened. Basically CSD dealt with counselling services, accessibility and academic skills and such. But now, CSD's accessibility services are with SAS (Student Accessibility Services) while its counselling services are with the Campus Wellness Centre. As for the academic skills, workshops and such, those are now through the Student Success Centre which opened up last year:

They have a whole bunch of workshops which you can sign up for through OSCARplus, I highly recommend doing so!
Also useful is the SCCE office, but that's more towards job search, career interviews, etc - not so much academic skills. They're a great resource nonetheless!
