Changing up Timetables
Is it usually hard to change around your timetable and get into different tutorials and what not?
Because unfortunately, in my second semester on Tuesdays, I have classes from 10:30am-3:20 straight.

It depends on how many people are in your class and how many different core sections, labs, and tutorials you have to choose from. Usually it's not very hard. Just check SOLAR on Monday and see which are available. If it's really bad, you can mention it to your professor or whoever is in charge when school starts to switch you.

Oh okay,
thanks
Hopefully I can switch it because I dont think I can go for 5 classes straight without any sort of break inbetween.

Also,
when I go to try and change my courses around..
Will it let me know on SOLAR if it's full or not so I don't drop a section and then can't get into another one I want?

Yeah. When you choose from the drop down menu, it will either say eg. C01 AVAIL or C01 FULL. You will not be able to change it to a FULL section/lab/tutorial, so you won't drop anything and be screwed. And if it's a different course, you're allowed to add the course and all the sections/labs/tutorials before you drop your other one.

On wednesday I have a Bio lecture at 10:30-11:20 then a Bio tutorial at 3:30-4:20 followed by a Bio Lab at 4:30-6:20. Do you suggest I change that or keep that is that too much or not smart to have a day full of bio because that is all I have on that day. I am just wondering if that is smart when it comes to tests/quizzes etc.

The bio labs and tutorials are EOW on the Master Timetable correct? That means that one week you will be going to your tutorial time, and the next week you will go to your lab time. So you really only have one class and one other bio thing on Monday. It's not too much, I've done it many times. It's actually quite good to get it out of the way, and it keeps your mind fresh on the topic when you do your lab and tutorial.

I have a question: many of my classes only have 10 minutes between them...should I try and switch them on Monday, or will I be stuck sprinting across campus every day?

10 minutes is the 'standard' amount of time to get between classes. I don't believe this is really an issue. Don't worry, McMaster has a pretty small campus, and you'll find it's pretty easy to get to classes within 10 minutes (for the most part).
