just wondering if anyone can provide any feedback about taking chem 1a03 in the summer term...not much is said about it and i can't find the course outline online anywhere. any info would be appreciated! thanks

Really good. I haven’t had good chem teacher since gr 11...Took chem 1e03, engineer equivalent to 1a03... also hated it. Took chem 1aa3 during summer and actually enjoyed it

yeah i'm hoping it won't be too bad in the summer. i'm in third year now and haven't taken chem since grade 12....do you know if they start off basic or should i be reviewing before the course begins?

uhmmm i did chem 1a03 first term...you do need to know the high school stuff but everything was given in the lecture notes so if you were rusty then by reading the notes and doing a few practice problems then you should be fine. i wouldnt waste much time preparing before hand.

I did Chem 1A03 in the summer, and I found it a lot easier.

If you have Mr. Hatala you are in the clear and will easily get a 10 or higher in the course.

Labs are every week, I think Tutorials were too...can't remember, but it was like 2 -three hour classes a week.
