I was surprised. I completely agree with what everyone's saying. Last term, I had to guess five - five! - of the three markers! As in, I really had no clue what the answer was. This time, I didn't even have to guess one.
I'm strangely relieved. Whew.
Now on to Psych! (bad placement of exams, tsk.)

wasn't that.. it was one of the questions... it may not have been a typo but thats why I want to ask here..
it was the question that asked you to find which reaction mechanism was incorrect. one of the answers included a grignard reagent, but the arrow from the carbonyl bond did not point to the oxygen, but pointed elsewhere.
Was that the right answer?

i think it was the reaction where they had an arrow pointing from a positively charged molecule to a molecule with the nitrogen atom

I narrowed it down to that one and the one I mentioned... but the one I mentioned definitely is wrong, is it not?
Perhaps they may give full marks for both..

Found it a lot easier then 1A03 final. I expected hell and was pleasantly surprised. I think it may have been easier since I heard that about 200 students deferred their 2nd midterm. Hence, about 200 students were writing a 55% exam, so if they made it super hard then the final course average would probably plummet and hence a curve would have to be used.

MEAN! DISLIKE!
I don't want it to be harder!
EDIT: Also, I'm pretty sure that question with the arrow pointing AWAY from the O was a type or the answer. I thought it was the answer (didn't notice anything wrong with the others...much. That one was glaringly obvious.)
Also...what the heck was the question about structural isomers of cycloPROPENE with molecular formulae C5H8?!

I think for that question you had a ring made up of three carbons with one double bond, and then you needed to add an ethyl or methyls (so you'll have 3 Cs from the ring and 2 branching off) to each carbon until you have all possible combinations.

yeah something like that, followed by an oxidation
