hi, I just decided to take organic chem- 20a3 in the summer and solar will not let me take it because i do not meet the prerequisite

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1AA3 and registration in an Honours Program. Students with a grade of less than C- in CHEM 1AA3 are encouraged to seek counselling before attempting this course. Prerequisite (Beginning 2010-2011): ISCI 1A24; or CHEM 1AA3 with a grade of at least C- and registration in an Honours program; or CHEM 1AA3, registration in an Honours program and permission of the Department. (See Department Note 2.)

I'm in first year Life Science, Im finishing up chem 1aa3 right now and since Im in life Sci I, I am not in an honours program yet, so, I am assuming I would have to get permission from the chem department.


Anyone who took or is taking this course in the summer and who was/is in the same situation as me, what steps did you take to meet the chem 20a3 requirements?

Go to ABB and head over to the Chemistry Department Office. There will be a sectary there, tell her you want a letter of permission. She'll sign you up.
