This course was such a pain. Mandatory in most cases.
It is similar to Eng 2P04, if you have taken it, in that if you know the style of the problems from practicing, you'll be alright. There are many things to memorize and often not enough space on the one cheatsheet given. Open book, like most chemical engineering courses. The lectures were pretty boring, and the topics fairly uninteresting. This year there were 7 assignments, but in past years there were as many as 10.
If you're taking this course - good luck!

Took heat transfer last year, it was quiet hard. The assignments were the killer, they took soooo much time. Other than that, prof is good and if you go to all your lectures understanding the concepts wont be that hard.
