Chem Eng 2A04
Hey guys,

I haven't had a chance to see Jeanne yet but I was wondering if anyone knew what was going on with Chem Eng 2A04. It no longer shows up on the master timetable but is still on the list of required courses for Level 3 Matls and Socty.

Thanks!

By the looks of it, they are converting it to a third year course and getting rid of Fluid Dynamics (3O04) I do not know why they are doing this, as there are some important topics covered in Fluids. They must be combining fluids with another class.

what used to be called Heat Trans 2A04 is not gonna be offered next year through (2012- 2013), as they are making it a 3rd year course. Instead they're gonna do Fluid, which is now a second year course.

So ur gonna have to prolly take it in ur 4th year

This is the chem eng requirements page. It says this confusion is only for 2012 - 2013
http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /calen...13/pg1203.html --> look at level 3

But Chem Eng 2O04 isn't on the master timetable either. Does that mean they have to take Chem eng 3O04 (for people going into second year)?

im pretty sure they're working on it.

Ppl entering 2nd year will only have to take 2O04 which is fluid mechanics (http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /calen...763.html#90703)

lol just to add, 2O04 wasn't released on the demo TT either, (http://pwning.dyndns.org/tentative_t...version.h tml)

They only things that have changed are:

- Heat trans and Fluid have swapped spots as 3rd and 2nd year courses respectively
- As a result, Heat trans will not be offered in 2012 - 2013 to any one
- And ppl moving into 3rd year will have to take this "second" year course (fluid 2O04)

...

...

So i just checked, Fluid mechanics is set as CHEM ENG 3O04 on the master TT. I didn't find any thing for Heat Trans.
