Entrance averages for second year engineering fluctuate from year to year, but a flat 6 might not be good enough for management.
A friend of mine few years ago was able to switch from chem eng to chem and management, so yes it is very possible. I think you need to get a certain grade to switch, just talk to Sally in the engineering office and she can help you out.
Good luck!

A flat 6 *WONT* be good enough for management. Can guarantee that without a doubt

I transferred in after second year. Had an 8.2 SA. You have to write a letter indicating why you want to be in management. It'll probably be a matter of who else is applying and who is dropping, as well.

I may also have been given preferential treatment because I was accepted to management after first year, but dropped it in May.
