Chem quiz;;;
So I just got my mark for my chem quiz and I got 1/3;;;
I didn't know that it was worth 3% of my final grade
Now i'm really pissed off cause I rushed through the quiz and I could have studied more for it
I have to do really good on the test now
Any comment would be helpful

Um, I think you answered your own question . From now on make sure you know how much each course component is worth, and be sure that you're on top of things for chem so that you don't fall behind and/or mess up another quiz

Like I told someone who got 76% on their anthro quiz:
Try harder pl0x.
In all seriousness, don't freak out about it and let this be a lesson for next time. It's not nearly as bad as me failing my math test that was worth 20% of my final mark. ^_^ You should be grateful. d:

Check your course syllabus. It should give you when the quizzes/assignments/exam/tests/labs/papers/etc are due and how much they're worth. If you don't have a hard copy of the course syllabus, just check the course website. The profs should have it uploaded in PDF format. The website is most likely Avenue To Learn...

Guys come on, don't overdo it. It's first year, totally understandable. Especially when it's an easy 3% that you can guarantee, compared to the 30+% of an exam that is unknown how it'll be like and cumulative.

the mark itself isn't a big deal, but the fact that you have to "study" for a quiz that was that easy is mindboggling, plz try to keep up with the course work (especially chem), or you'll find yourself crying after the midterm for a quarter of your grade, i'll say it one more time so it hits home, DONT CRAM CHEM!!

I just looked up my mark for the quiz too. How can it be out of 3 marks when there were 5 questions?

Even though there were 5 questions, the whole quiz was graded out of 12. Some questions were worth 2 marks and some 3 marks. Just like we will get on the midterm. However, since its worth 3% of your final grade, the total grade was scaled down to 3. Not a difficult concept to understand if you pay attention to details and look through your course outline. Hope that helps.
