Hi soo random question, A friend of mine at Reed(Usa) University recently got the job as a campus reactor student operator(Over there the Reactor is run 100% by students). He described the Cherenkov Radiation as the most beautiful thing he has ever seen :S I was wondering does the Mac Nuclear reactor have public tours that get you close enough for a vantage point into the water tank that houses the whole electron insulation mechanism etc? I do vaguely recall that CBC tv show's lame moral panic coverage of the Mac Reactor which mentioned how anyone can walk in and how its apparently a "terrorist" threat. Do they have tours in the summer?

Quick correction, 16x9 (that shitty show), was on Global, not CBC.

On average, the CBC is much better than airing that lowest common-denominator crap.

Yeah lol what's with people and nuclear reactor security moral panics? Did you read about that crackpot American Author who created a random story about terrorists having already stolen kilo's of Uranium?! LOL The publisher later came out and made an apology claiming whatever the author wrote was "not based on facts" but that guys is still adamant!
