Chess enthusiasts, anyone?
Are any of you interested in chess? We could start a chess club by deciding a place and time we would meet every week to play.
I'm really into chess and I have a FIDE rating of 1640.

Good game, Silver. That's an awesome website.
Edit: For everyone's information, en.lichess.org is a great website to play chess without having to register.

Like the people above said, there is already a chess club, we meet on thursdays at 6 pm, at the student centre.
Do you have a chess.com account?
And what openings do you usually play?

Yes, I have a chess.com account. Although, there are much better places to play like Internet Chess Club and lichess.
As white, I usually play the Ruy Lopez or the King's gambit. As black, it depends on what white plays: I usually respond to e4 with e5, and to d4 with d5 or Nf6.
So, what openings do you usually play?

white: Queen's Gambit
black: Sicilian or Queen's Indian Defense, depending on white's first move

I do the thing where you move the knight to attack and make the other guy choose between his queen and rook, then move in the bishop to check the king...is that a thing?
