Civil at Mac?
Hey guys,

I am thinking about pursuing civil engineering. But, I know nothing about it. What exactly differentiates a civil engineer and an architect? What does a civil engineer actually do? Does he just sits in an office, does math and calculations, does field study, and come up with the building structure and stuff? Or is he the one studying the hardness of rocks, Stability, Balance, Equilibrium, etc? I am really confused.

For those in Civil, how is the program at Mac? At high school, people used to talk about Mac being good for programs chemical and mechanical, and not so much for civil, how do you guys think? Is civil poorly structured?

And again, thanks for the answers.
