Coffee on Campus
Are there any places on campus that let students bring in their own thermoses, drinkware, etc. to be filled up with coffee and then payed for? Its meant to be a greener alternative to the paper coffee cups we see littered all over campus.
I think York does something like this but I wasn't sure if McMaster offered something similar.
Anyone know?

10 cents savings... big deal. I love coffee, but God is it ever a rip-off. I bet it costs them 10 cents total for each cup of coffee they serve, yet you have to pay $2 (or $5 at Starbucks, but I won't even go there).

I don't drink coffee but as far as I know basically everywhere on campus that serves coffee will allow you to do this. I'm not 100% sure but I think this is standard procedure at Mac.

You'll get a considerable discount on coffee at Union Market if you bring in a reusable cup. Also, I'm pretty sure if you bring in a reusable cup on Wednesdays you get free coffee. This is a new thing they're trying out this year.
Union Market is a few doors down from La Piazza in the Student Center.

Does the Wednesday coffee at Union run all day? Cause I have an evening class and would love to feed my caffeine needs late into the night hehe.

You're not including the cost to set up shop and the wages of the employees.

Yeah, 5 bucks for a specialty drink. A grande coffee is $2.05 after tax. Hardly 5 bucks.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know if there is a Starbucks on campus? I saw on the other thread that there is one in ITB and another in HSB, but I don't know where exactly they are.
