acanac?
You could also try acanac, they have a promotion going on where u pay $227 (incl taxes) lump sum for the year, it works out to be $18.95 monthly. They also take $50 deposit (which they will return to you if you decide to cancel the service) for the modem. The reviews for acanac are very mixed but I am writing this message using their connection and besides a few problems initially setting it up it has been running beautifully since day one. Their speed is also a bit slower than cogeco standard but you pay less and they also don't have any download or upload limits. They also have a 30 day money return policy.

I'm pretty sure Cogeco is 8Mb/s connection speed. However, I'm certain Cogeco connects through cable whereas Teksavvy would connect through the phone lines.

I had the 16 Mb/s Cogeco last year, and the fastest I ever saw it go was maybe 9 Mb/s max. It's still ridiculous to have that much speed when the bandwidth cap is 100 GB per month...

Yeah, that is still pretty fast, the only thing I hate about cable, especially in a student housing area, is that it most likely fluctuates every year.
