is college easier? which is better?

Your question is very complex.

College is 'easier' and university 'pays more', is the short answer.

Then again, will you get an almost garunteed job straight out of university? Up to you, it is, young padawan.

Also, since the US is so close to us, College in the States is not the same thing as in Canada. College in the States refers to any institution which only provides a certain domain of education. As a result, a university in the states can be composed of several colleges. For instance, my university (Salus) used to only be a college (Pennsylvania college of optometry) but recently they've added college of audiology, a college of education and rehabilitation, and a college of health sciences.

So if you just so happen to go to the States for college, it's different than in Canada.
