Hey everyone, Im a 2nd year commerce student going into 3rd. I failed comm 2ab3 already and I NEED to pass it. I took it with Prof Giri before and i was wondering should I retake it with him or with Prof Mohammed? I've never had a course with Professor Mohammed before so I have no idea what he's like. Who do I have better chance of passing and doing well with?

Generally if two courses are running at the same time the material is taught in the same order and the tests are also the same. I say generally of course because at the exam there were two different exams for a certain course (I think it was sociology).

The both profs are teaching at different times.....prof mohammed in summer and prof giri in winter semester.

Ah ok, then I can't help you as I haven't taken the course or have had the profs. Hopefully someone will answer though, just give it some time.

Well, I got a 2 in Financial Acctng with Mohammed and a 7 in Managerial with Giri. I prefer Giri.

Thanx alot....do you mind me asking why you think Mohammed usually get lower grades? I heard he's a really good prof and my problem with Giri is that I felt he never explained well enough.

Can't really answer that. I had the 8:30 am class with Mohammed and found it really hard to go. And if I did attend, I was half asleep the entire time.
I think I kind of agree with the not explaining things a whole lot... Though for me, it's because I need to know the "why" behind everything.

yea same here.....knowing how and why really helps me. how do you think mohammed's tests were compared to giri's?

Again, not the best to answer this... I did NOT apply myself in Financial. I got a 58 on the first midterm, 27 after the curve on the 2nd... (literally got the 2nd lowest mark). It's a miracle I passed that course.
