It's anyone taking COMP LIT 1AA3. How is this coruse and the work load. If someone can post a course outline, It will be great. Thankyou.

I'm taking the course right now and we have 9 plays/books/short stories to read over the semester at about a book every week and a half.
We are reading:
Moilere - Tartuffe and The Misanthrope
Racine - Phaedra
Goethe - Faust I and the last act of Faust II
Kleist - Michael Kohlhaas (short story I think)
reading week
Stendhal - The Red and the Black
Pushkin - The Queen of Spades (only one class)
Balzac - Pere Goriot
Eliot - Silas Marner
Almost all of the pieces are translated nicely from other languages and they are quite readable.
Class participation counts for 10%, the first paper is worth 20% (1250 words), the second paper is also worth 20% and is also 1250 words, and the final is worth 50%.

Thx u..When u said Final is 50 Percent. Did u mean the exam or the final paper.

50% is the final exam sometime in April
